Sponsorship Programs

All of Casa Guatemala's 250 children are orphans, have come to us due to severe abuse issues, or come from families too poor to provide adequate home care and schooling. These children will live most of their childhood with us, and since we receive no government support your help could allow a child access to housing, nutritional diet, medical care, education and an engaging and enriching environment in which to grow up. Please look over the faces and read the stories of these beautiful children; you can help by simply making a monthly, yearly or one-time donation to the child of your choice by using your credit card or sending in by check your tax-deductible donation today. Sponsor 1 child for $30/month or $360/year

After a child finishes grade 6 - usually at 16 yrs of age, we continue to help this person until they reach the age of majority (18 yrs) by helping to find employment at one of our Self-Sufficiency Projects or their area of choice. If possible we also try to finance the education at the secondary, trade school or college/university levels of those students who wish to continue their studies. These teens need your support as they become independent, and the help you could provide could mean a future filled with opportunities.

Your gift will allow us to continue to provide a safe home, nutritional diet, and job placement and/or off-site education for these young teens.

Sponsor 1 teen for $125/month or $1500/year (this will pay for: books, transport, uniforms, school fees, accommodation and food)

We are looking for an organization, group or individuals to come together and help finance the running of our school. We need to equip 250 students with school supplies, textbooks and educational materials. We need to continually maintain school buildings and provide for the nutritional and transportation needs of the children that attend our school from the surrounding Mayan villages; whose families are too poor to provide for their children in this way. We need to cover the salaries, housing, food and medical care of the 18 Guatemalan teachers live with us Monday to Friday to teach our children. In addition, we need to continually improve the level of education we provide for our children, which will give them the best opportunities to succeed in life.
